Yet another great experience at the Melting Pot on Jefferson. We've been coming to the store since they opened. Our first trip was to the store in Virginia Beach but thankfully we got our very own. We moved away and returned about five years ago and we make this restaurant our first choice when going out for dinner. The staff is so friendly and professional there really are no comparisons. We understand food costs are up. We would love to see the mushroom salad back on the menu! Thanks again for a terrific dinner.

Had a birthday dinner there recently. Outstanding!!! The food was great, the presentation was excellent, and our server - Latisha - was exceptional. Ask for her is you visit - unless we're there!!!!!

Pretty hard to beat this amazing restaurant it was a delightful evening and excellent dinner

We just left the melting pot. I have never had such an amazing experience like that before. Our server Mackenzie went above and beyond at every moment she could. The manager Jen was very involved with our order (we have some severe allergies). They were both so genuine in their care and attention to us, and to the other tables around us. The experience almost had me in tears when I left. I cannot say enough positive things about our evening. Thank you Jen and Mackenzie! We cannot wait to come back!

**Review Our dining experience at Melting Pot was the best we've had as a family. Everyone loved the food and enjoyed the unique experience.

Usually, I go to the location in Virginia Beach. This was my first time enjoying the location in Newport News. It's definitely a more nicely lit area to enjoy meals. My sister and I enjoyed a lovely three course meal together. Julian was our server. He told us it was his first two weeks working there, and he was fantastic! I can't imagine a better server. He has a sparkling g personality and made sure everything was wonderful without hovering. Perfect balance. Our french onion cheese course was amazing. I have a new favorite cheese for sure now. The main course was perfect, steak, chicken, shrimp, and the tasty mushroom ravioli made a balanced meal with lots of potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, and zucchini. The dessert was our favorite the yin yang

Absolutely incredible location. I've been to multiple Melting Pots across the US & this is my absolute favorite. Here's why. My partner & I have visited this location on a monthly basis over the last year. However these last 2 weeks, we've gone about 6 times. Laurel was our waitress one of those times, & she was absolutely lovely. Very attentive & funny! We tried a new food combination she suggested that knocked our socks off. Last night, we visited again & had Paige as our waitress. She suggested us another food combination with the "double dippers" that blew our minds. She was also attentive & just an all around great server. When we wanted to rave to the manager about the new double dippers, we spoke to a female manager (we never got her name, ugh!) who didn't seem to mind how much we talked her ear off over how much we love this place! Another manager, Jason, also came over & joked with us afterward! Every time we've visited, we've had impeccable service & amazing food. It's worth the price every time, & we leave with smiles on our faces!

The food was pretty okay. You mostly pay for the experience I believe. The service was great. We didn't care for the broth to cook our food in and our server happily changed it out for us. I would definitely recommend you try this place at least once. I'd most likely return for just the dessert portion. The place is also very cozy and they have cute little treats you can purchase beforehand if you'd like to surprise your significant other for an anniversary or other special occasion.

I made reservations ahead of time, I HIGHLY recommend doing that. The restaurant was so empty! I'm we loved it. The one thing we like about covid. Our waitress and the training waitress was great. They ha sled things well. Our cheese dippers were interesting. We had Persian carrots... I think that is what they are called. We could not wrap ourself around the texture of them. I prefer the normal carrots. Our bread dippers were a little hard. The salads were great. The meat was delicious, same with the veggies. The potatoes were already cooked. Normally we got raw potatoes. I was nervous because they did not look well. But, turned out they were ok. Our chocolate after heating up had chunks in it. Not sure what that was all about. Other than that we had a good time.
